*Need Help* Blueick

Does anyone else with a bluetick or a hound in general have a problem with dry skin and dandruff? Anyone have any solutions? Right now Lucky is 1year and 5mo and is eating purina one smart blend large breed dog food which the vet recommended and is doing well on... But he just has such dandruff ...

Re: coyotes attack dog

Only coon hunt; but we've used a bell for years now. Older/finished dog trees every drop, and haven't had a problem with coyotes yet (knock on wood).

Cut up Pads

Anyone have issues with their dogs cutting up their pads? I have a dog who always seems to get a cut there while hunting.
Does tuff pads really work? Or is it worth trying? Or does anyone else have any tricks they use to toughen them up?
