I agree totally with Jeff, if you are looking to hunt big game with curs ( in this case mtn or kemmer curs) you need to get em from someone that is using them and they work consistently for them. Both kemmers and leopards are great breeds and have some great big game dogs, I know because I have both ...

Bobcats are harder to cetch IMO... seems ike they leave less scent and seems it takes a better dog to cetch bobcats consistently. just my .02

Killed 1 and it was a nice Tom in 9 years of lion huntin I want to kill a Really big Tom one day but its way more fun to leave em and then theyre still out there next time you want to chase em!!

I agree with Spanky here in Montana I would say Arlee Burke... Great guy great houndsman and Great lion hunter I had the privelege of living nearby and getting to know him for a couple years...

I hadnt been on here a little while so didnt see this post earlier but, I run Stryker dogs up here in Montana on Lion and Bobcat and they are worth their feed for me... pm me if you want to talk about em.

Put 2 down both were Mature Toms 151 lb. and 148 lb. taken by my Brother and my neighbor friend so I guess I'm just over 10% but still have some running to do so that # will pry go down yet. As was said before dead animals dont make tracks, I like to go out and be able to find a track to run...

I haven't heard of it happening up around here, I think people have enough common sense and/ or are afraid of what the outcome would be if they dumped dogs on someones track, I think someone would get hurt if that happened around here...
