Re: Shoer & Trainer in Oklahoma
Oh mostly cattle now lol, But I had a pack of Plott's that were jamup Bear and Hog dogs, all I have now are some Catahoulas that are cow dogs, they will every now and again catch a hog, but it aint worth it to me to get'em cut up or killed on hogs when I make my livein catchin cows. But we are ...

Re: 16 in Hereford / Tex Tan saddle for sale or trade
Is it QH Bars or Semi QH bars? And how deeps the gullet? I need another saddle for one of my boys and my wife ride's a TexTan, but we raise NFQHA horses and they are wide withered and full QH bars aint wide enough. My boy has a 14in Wade by Colarado Saddle Co that he out grown.

Re: What is your favorite type of hound!
i have had just about every breed in my yard at one point or another. But these brindle dogs do it for day in and day out. I had two walker dogs though that I wouldn't have traded for the world.

Re: plott+pitbull?
Well I dont hunt in wolf country much, so I cant say one way or the other on what will or will not work. But I did look at the vest that was posted, and I do hunt my fare share of hogs, and that vest wouldn't do a dang thing for your dog VS a hog. More times then not a dog is hit in the neck and ...

Re: generatons for consistant type.
I see where Pops is comeing from on that, but what we dont know is if they started to like what they were getting before that 30 year mark. For my personal cow dogs it took 6-7 generations to start weeding out the bad traits and keep the good ones, I'm at generation 8 now and have less of the bad ...

Re: Cattahoula working dog wanted
I have been raiseing a line of cow dogs for the past ten years, and they have proven them selves time and time again, for me and on some fairly large cattle operations. I have been crossing Queensland X Kelpie X Border Collie X Catahoula and these dogs are gritty and smart, I'm makeing one more ...

Cause all I have ever used is Catahoulas and queenslands I have never used a leopard cur for a cow dog, I tryed a Black mouth once, but I shot that worthless thing. I know of some real good cow dog lines out of OK and LA, I know Chester just had a ...

Lep Cur X Plott
We had an accidenial breeding happen and I'm going to sell a few of the pups. I'm asking $50.00 for these pups just to cover food, shots and worming's. Both the sire and dam have done a great job for me. I have no clue on how these pups will turn out or how there nose is going to be, most likely they ...
