Re: Another what the heck is this question
My dog ran one off of a pile exactly like that last year. Mike L. told me it was a scent post made by a female to keep her kittens in the area while she went off hunting.

MOVING TO MEXICO
Dear President Obama:
I'm planning to move my family and extended family into Mexico for my health, and I would like to ask you to assist me.
We're planning to simply walk across the border from the U.S. Into Mexico,
and
we'll need your help to make a few arrangements.

Re: Utahs Deer Population
I think everyone is right it is a combination of alot of things. However I have seen coyotes make a big impact on the deer population. Deer are just no where near as aggressive at defending their young as elk are. Poachers take more than you think and elk herds do make a big differance even though ...

Re: full moon
AZ hunter I totally agree with you. I am still kinda new to this lion hunting and I know I don't have near the success I would if I could get myself more interested in driving roads. I catch a few but to me its just alot more enjoyable to go hiking and freecast the dogs. To me it seems much more ...

Re: Help living with a lion
Its kinda tough to have them right next to your house like that, but I think they come alot closer to alot of homes than most people know. I have tracked them right into peoples yards or saw trackes where they circled a hunting camp at 50yds during the night. They are curious animals and most of the ...

Re: The Difference
I think hounds have been bred to do one thing for so long they are alot more instincts than brain. I read a book where Ben Lilly was quoted as saying "the longer the ears the shorter the brain" don't know if he really said that but it sure seems true sometime. Hounds can be dissappointing sometimes ...

Very interesting Tom. I think 90% of everyone one in the US feels they have no true representation in Washington. Something has to change!

Re: Ever lost a dog to a mean lion?
I lost one in June to a lion. It was my fault and it was the dogs fault. I was just roadin them for exercise late in the evening and they struck a really hot track and I didn't call them off and I probably should have. It was just two dogs and they treed it at about 9pm. They treed for about an hour ...

Re: Non vocal puppy?
Most of the pups I have had not developed a voice till about 4 or 5 months old. Just savor the quiet while you still have it!! One of the pups I got now all of a sudden found her voice at 5 months and she will make your ears ring she is so damn loud!

Re: Cutting Lion tracks at night
Ya the bad thing about here is the "bar is usually their truck". Run into a bunch of 18-25 year old with guns at 1 in the am and they are all coked up and drunk and then tell me you don't want more wardens out there patrolling!

Re: Cutting Lion tracks at night
Guys don't mind me I'm just a little bitter cause I got up at three am last week and went to cut tracks only to find someone had beat me to my own property! I think we should be able to cut tracks at night but we got a couple of guys here that pay kids to cut tracks all night. Its real hard to ...
