I had a plott i ran on coyotes. Really could not keep up with my walkers and blueticks. But he sure made up for it when they caught a yote. Cant get much more grit than a plott thats outta straight bear dogs

Buddy of mine uses a jagd. That thing is crazy on a yote. If it wont come out, that little dog will MAKE mr.yote come out

To many factor's goes into a track weather, Temp., wind, type of veg. your running in. A track on a hot day with little to no shade on the south slope could be considered old after an hour or so. A track on the north side of the moutain with lots of shade and under growth can hold scent for hours ...
