We backed up the road loaded the dogs on the box and drove down to the track not even a squawk. But just the day before the same pack of dogs struck a hour or more track and treed the cat ...

That's weird that u bring that up. This year we have caught more cats on the ground then I can ever remember.I would like to see the dogs tree the bastered but if they can catch him on the ground good for them. Does catching them on the ground have anything to do with the breed of dogs u have?

Ya the snow is just really crappy where I hunt now. So I think I will go road the dogs around where I was deer hunting this year. I have a dog that I have hunted on cats the whole 3 years. I have owned him. But i have never try dry ground how does a guy start a dog that has never hunted the dry ground.
Any tips?
