Re: Why do most houndsmen not wear camo?
What's the point? I drive a Tacoma with a horrendeous exhaust leak that makes it sound like a Power Stroke, AC/DC and Slayer is blarring along with the occasional Eminem or Flo Rida tune... When it happens dogs make noise... Camo is for people scared of what they are hunting.

Re: Telemetry comparison
I have an Alpha. I can say that since I have had it and finally had a TT-10 for every dog I own I have not used my Telemetry BOX... However I will never turn a hound lose without a Telemetry Collar on them.
I run Johnson's Telemetry Collars with the 16,000 hour batter in them.

Re: bear hunting pack contents

Re: Marking garmin collars
Each dog I own has a set color, from ID collar, Telemetry, and now the TT-10s. There are too many colors of collar straps out there to not make it easy to pick a color lol. Especially now since they have added patterns to the mix. IMO the Reflective straps are the way to go, even if they look like ...

Re: where can I send my tracker maxima
Check some of the other Telemetry companies out there, they may be able to work on them, also try Radio Shack, sounds stupid but I was looking for the SMA adapter for my Maxima/Astro to work with my Yagi/roof mount antennas, they had them there and they said that other houndsman there had brought ...

I have thought the same thing!! That's another added benefit to the Telemetry collars. Due to the obvious reasons lets not post how those work

Re: Just got my new BGH magazine.
I got mine. Really nice magazine. I enjoyed the articles and the product catalog was nice, I could care less about designer boots and shirts, but top of the line hound dog gear, I can't window shop enough
Thanks Buddy and the crew at Double U, you guys are amazing!

Re: Astro or alpha ?
I had a 320, 4 DC-40's and a DC-30 and a Trashbreaker with 6 collars. I went to the Alpha and I will never look back. In all reality, you are not spending much more money on a collar if you get 1 Astro with the collar and a Trashbreaker with 1 collar. By the time you buy an additional GPS collar and ...

Re: New Alpha 200
I think Matt practiced the Radar description for hours.. "If you've ever watched a submarine movie, BLOOP, BLOOP, BLOOP" LOL.
In all honesty though, the radar thing would be sweet, multi purpose, just throw it on a dog and make it swim in front of the boat and BAM! Redneck fish finder! LOL

Re: 2014 Arizona Javelina Hunt
Thank you :) It was a blast. Next year I will be going after one with my bow, my boyfriend and I got a wild hair and decided to invest in some bows. He used to be a strict archery hunter and I have only shot a dozen arrows in my life, but I fell in love with the 2014 Hoyt Charger so that's what I ...
