I used to live and hunt around penobscot county and up in the county . if you get some cameron i think you will do just fine. i had smokey river bluetick and he was great. start them out on coon and graduate them to bobcats by the time they are 2/ 2.5 they should be ready for bear. but thats all ...

Hello Dan depending on how soon you want to start hunting I would get a started dawg and then if get a pup and run it with your started hound. Its a lot easier that way. I live in Colorado springs so of you got any other ? Or need suggestions give me a holler.
