I recently bought a couple of DC 40s simply because of availability and price increase of the 30s. I hunt with both 30s and 40s. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that the 30s are a much better collar. The 40s loose signal way more than the 30s.

We all run during training season. We deal with a multitude of bear hunters. I think the ones that dont want to allow training during season are either insecure or greedy, JMO
