Re: coyote sled
If your hunting farm country a freestyle would work just fine. they are a little shorter and lighter. I use the tundra and like it, but we hunt some big country at times and alot of cattail swamps, and the tundra has a little more track on the ground. I have a pull out ramp that is pretty easy to ...

coyote question
Last week I was hunting with a group of houndsmen that I usually don't hunt with and our hounds caught a different looking coyote. This coyote looked like it was crossed with a fox. It was real red and had a fox looking face and not as big as most coyotes.

Re: coon wont go in live trap
If leg hold traps are legal in your state, just bed a 1-1/2 coil spring trap in front of live trap where the tracks are.Cover trap with thin layer of dirt. I seen you were in Arizona so dirt shouldn't be froze like it is here. He won't be expecting trouble outside of cage.

Re: Tom Bobcat stolen
that's a scumbag for sure, and here's another one, my hunting buddy was in town the other day and someone stoled a coyote, of all things to steal! It was in the pickup box down out of sight. They left the snowshoes, just took the yote. thought that was alittle weird.

Re: Good days with bad endings
sorry so many things went wrong for you that day, but i'm glad you had a positive attitude and seen the good that happened. You treed a lion and nobody got killed in the blazer , life is good. On a side note, I've learned to never say "what else can go wrong", cuz you might find out if you ask that ...

Re: Coyote hunting with greyhounds
I've seen it done. It's pretty cool. they have dog boxes mounted behind the cab with holes big enough so the dog can stick his head out. they have a cable that runs to the cab so they can open the dog doors from the drivers seat. Now you just find a coyote for the dog to see and dump the dogs on em ...

Re: Coyotes kill teenage girl
Because it happened 10 kilometers from the other attack they consider it unrelated, and it prolly is, but we have tracked coyotes that have traveled 12 miles in one nite on fresh snow.
