Well Steve, I can't comment on the parents, all I know is what I saw. For a young dog he did superb. I wathced him and another dog start a track that the other dogs had already blown out on. Me Loyd and my brother took a straight line across the top of the rim to the dogs in the lead. Dozer ran that ...

Mike ...

Cat Track, I did not bring any dogs with me. To be honest, I don't think they would have fared well. Don't get me wrong we catch plenty of bears with em, but cats on dry gound, in and around those canyons, I think they would be lost. They are not bred or trained for all the cold trailing, and the ...

Ok, I thinkI got it now. I went out to Utah with my brother and two other friends two weeks ago. I ran with Loyd Nielson of Blanding Utah (Sunrise Outfitting). AWSOME! Thats the only way to describe the trip. We hunted seven days, and took this lion on the seventh day at 1:30 in the afternoon. We ...

Tom I did not complain at all and I made it clear that I in no way wanted to interfere with you. I merly asked how we in the central region might be able to run before the training season starts. I am aware of your comitment to F&G we need more of it. That is what I am looking for. I think your a ...

Tom I am sure if the shoe was on the other foot you would be just as upset. I have nothing to hide here and nothing against you at all, but if here is where you want to discuss it then so be it. When someone talks about treeing tweny plus bears before the training season even starts and the rest ...

We treed a little nasty snot on Monday, had another little onery bugger on Tuesday. The dogs bayed for a short time then finally convinced him to climb.

I'm not sure if Bo has found his way back here or not. I know they have treed some bears.

" Bear hunting hound men are a bold and tough bunch and considered by many, including thier wives to be a bit loco"

" Take a hound man dedicated to bear hunting and you'll often find a woodsman that knows more about wildlife than the people hired to manage it"
