David,
If you decide to do a reprint I will buy at least one, I have a friend I would like to give one to. Might buy 2 depending on my finances when you to the reprint.
Thanks

Re: Foot wear

I've worn both whites and kennetreks over the years, but the best boot I've ever worn was a Rick Brockman custom boot. They are a little more expensive than the production boots, but less than most other custom boot makers and to me they are worth it. For those of you who notice the similarities in ...

Mike, if you find it please post it on here. I'm sure there are several of us would like to read it again. And some people might enjoy reading it for the first time.

Thanks

Re: PRICING A HOUND ?

Another point, require buyer to come and hunt in your area with you so the good, bad or ugly will be shown about a hound for sale. That will only show what the dog will do in your area, in the area he is used to hunting in. In my personal opinion, seeing a dog in an area that he is unfamiliar with ...

Re: Got a question for hog hunters.

If both parents are good then pups have a chance to be good. I run mostly cur/hound crosses and have had good luck with them. Personally I prefer the 3/4 cur by 1/4 hound because it gives a better chance of a silent running dog, but with a little time and patience (and know how) you can get most dog...

Re: Training a mule

The short answer is: Put a lip string on him, get a pocket full of treats, and reward him when he obeys and correct him(carefully) when he willfully disobeys. The tricky part is learning to read his body language well enough to recognize willful disobedience versus confusion. If you really want to t...

Re: Grawes lure

I have had good success with grawes training scents, before you throw it away, read Mike Leonards article recommended above, and give me a call. I don't like typing well enough to be willing to type it all out, but talking is easier so I would be willing to tell you on the phone. 575-374-8773

Re: urgent!! USFWS and wolf-lovers/anti-hunters are at it ag

ladder is owned by Ted Turner, He is not exactly what you would call a typical New Mexico rancher. He has volunteered his ranch to raise the wolves for USFWS to release. NM Game commission has shut them down at least temporarily, we are trying to get them to keep them shut down.

urgent!! USFWS and wolf-lovers/anti-hunters are at it again

I posted this on the "urgent NMG&F is at it again" thread, but I don't know how many are still following that thread and this is a different topic so I decided to post it here also. Bill Below is a copy of an email that should dispel the myth that the NM Game Commission is in favor of ...

Re: Urgent! NM Game & Fish is at it again!

Below is a copy of an email that should dispel the myth that the NM Game Commission is in favor of wolves or that they would try to kill more lions to provide more food for the wolves. Here is a chance for the houndsmen to actually do something constructive for their sport, as well as for all sports...
