Re: hunting instincts hurt by castration

The world would be a much better place if most male hounds were cut. It's real easy to make a litter of pups, it takes a hell of alot of time, effort and money to make one good hound. I just cut a really nice high tan yearling yesterday, and I like him even more today.

Re: female killers

Dead female lions are not very impressive, they look much better alive. However, ranchers and outfitters are not the devil, like they're being portrayed here.

Hey Vise, looks like that was a good cross too. Do you think they'll make that cross again any time soon?

2009 Wyoming Buck

Here's a couple pictures of the buck I killed last fall. He's 207" gross and 29' wide outside. After I spotted him I tried to get me dad to kill him, but he was worried he would "F" it up, so I got to kill him. hunting 09 096 [1600x1200].JPG hunting 09 068 [640x480].JPG 2009_0322jcdeer0001[1].JPG ...

Live cover. The mares look at each other and giggle when they see a Q.H. taking a leak now.

Re: horse breeds for hunting

Here's the Shire stud I breed my mares to. He's only 1600 lbs., so he crosses good on the Q.H. mares.

Re: horse breeds for hunting

I'm a huge half draft fan. The outfitter I guide for in Wyoming has 60 or 70 of them. They pack dudes on trail rides all summer, then go every other day hauling hunters all fall. Very, very seldom do you have a lame or sick one. Hands down the very toughest horse I've been around is out of a Mustang ...

Driving the Toyota where only snowmobiles have been all winter...... pretty fun

Chaining all four and shoveling for four hours..... not too fun

Listening to your wife bitch and tell you what a dumbass you are because she's missing the superbowl....... Priceless
