Re: whitedeer preserve walkers ?

No, but I saw his line of plotts on the cover of Full Cry a while back (March 2010.) The article was about a lion hunt in Idaho. I think he also promotes English. If I lived closer to Texas I wouldn't hesitate on getting me some of that Banjo/Loose Bruce blood he has. Hard to go wrong with that. Not...

Re: Dog food?

Diamond just issued a recall due to a possible salmonella contamination. It doesn't look like it affects the western part of the country.

Big One

My wife's friend posted this picture on Facebook. I personally don't know who they are, or how old the picture is. All I know is it was taken near Idaho Springs, CO. Apparently there were 3 dog collars in its belly. That is all I know. I figure since it was on Facebook no harm in posting it here. ht...

Dogs Trashed

Went out looking for a cat track, with no luck. Around 2:00 in the afternoon it started to snow pretty good so I decided to call it quits. I put the dogs down to road them the last 10 miles out. They went down to the creek and I must of been day-dreaming cause I looked at the GPS and they were 600 y...

Re: Idaho UKC copetition coon hunts

Our season never closes. Most of our neighboring states do not have that luxury. In fact many states around here have very limited hound hunting. So we need to protect that, even if it means limiting the number of non-residents we let in. Your right I dont think people will flood to Idaho to hunt co...

Re: Idaho UKC copetition coon hunts

Hey Ken, its Chris. Is that you who has been trying to call me. Sorry, I havn't got back to ya. Why would we remove coons from the hound hunting permit. Seems like that would open a flood gate of hunters and dogs into the state. And that will bring alot of problems and confusion. Lets just keep it t...
