Sometimes the GPS will lose contact with a coller , then not regain contact even when the dog gets back to me. Its happened to differant collers. Could I be doing somthing wrong, or is there some way to regain contact? I run 2 GPSs so my uncle can watch the hunt on one from the truck. I wish I could ...

I had one 30 years ago. He was a real gritty dog on bear and a good tree dog. He didn"t trail very good on a cold track. Good natured , not aggresive but would not back up. Not much bark but a LOT of bite

Most of this country has streams of running water, however I do carry a couple gallons of water in the truck just in case we have a hard run in a dry spot.

Yip Bency I just have a few one hundred dollar dogs , but a high dollar leper con in my pocket. IF I ever lose that lucky little bugger I"ll be sunk fer sure.

As long as we are wishing , I wish marshal would add a GPS to its beeper coller and team up with tritronics and add a training coller to the deal and put it all on one coller then have one hand held controller for it all. Many times. And now that I have a garmin I see that most of the time one or two dogs are doing the catching and treeing before the rest get there.

I got a cameron female from Jeff a couple years ago that is a good dirt lion dog. Big Mike watched a tom lion knock her off a rock some time back, but it didn"t hurt her.
