i dont use dog food but i use donuts and my dogs will stop and grab a few on there way by my bait barrells too but sounds like they dont run far after eating dog food some of the bears i chase run miles or its the donuts slow my dogs down rich

plott13 if u think them dogs are gonna take a 3 or 4 day old track and start it you got rocks in your heard and if anyone thinks they can start that track they got rocks too

i think in my area the guy that can put his hounds on a bear when most cant is pete ronfelt and hes good guy with hounds and hes nice guy to hunt with think my second choice would be mike curtin from mass hes a good guy to hunt with too
