Re: Bear transmits infection to dog?

Re: Favorite Houndsmen Qoutes

One day my hound caught a coyote on his own, next day he backtracked four sections. My buddy says "yesterday you wouldn't have sold him for a thousand dollars, today you couldn't give em away". I have since had several that fit that description.

Re: DC40 collars

Hey Steve,I hear what you are saying about range, and I understand it. You cannot change the mind of people who think their hound is 10 miles away because the beep is week or that they don't loose contact. Garmin is its on worst enemy because hunters refuse to believe that just maybe their hounds ...

I really don't see how the igloo's stay warm either, because they are just plastic... I put flaps on them and it seems to work better..

I really want some aluminum one's built that I can insulate.. But I have ...

Re: Another bad dog deal.......

I had a friend ,bought a bear dog for $1000. Asked for a guarantee, and was told he could bring the hound back anytime, but the seller guaranteed he wouldn't have the money to give back. Just thought it was funny but honest.

Re: animals controlling their scent?

I have always attributed that to dirty nose,Getting the hound out of the dog box, into fresh air for a couple minutes seems to help get the track going from the road. Also I have always thought that when the game is jumped, the hounds switched to breath scent, allowing them to drift tracks.I am no ...
