Where in WI are you. I have a friend that knows a guy who runs black and tans near Waukon IA right near WI border. I have no idea how good they are although I am hoping to take my pup up there in the spring and go out with him and his dogs.

If i get a started dog can I start hunting with just one or do you need multiple dogs to tree a bear. Im assuming that I would have to find someone to run with untill I added at least a second dog.
