Re: Running dogs that tree

Merlo, most of us on the east side of the cascades hunt snow because we don't have a choice in the winter. It's pretty stupid if you ask me to throw a dog on the box or hood when the temp is usually anywhere from -20 to + 20.... This winter being an exception to that. Having a cold nosed dog has ver...

Re: Nance Stud (SLASH)

I haven't seen where anyone has trashed anything here and I went through and re-read all the posts to make sure. The spinning the track question is for dry ground guys is how I took it, and for the guys that hunt dry ground, it's a important thing to know IMO. I think the question is if you ever do ...

Re: Nance Stud (SLASH)

I've hunted with a couple nance dogs and have liked them a lot, they are very good tempered, easy to handle dogs with a lot of nose power and good stuff between the ears IMO. The two downfalls I've seen in the two I've been around is locating in big timber and ones feet didn't hold up that great. Th...

Re: New longer lasting Replacement Garmin DC series battery

I run a 10 second update and I get 40-42 hrs unless the temp plummets into the negatives in which all batteries lose life. The batteries are 40% greater life then what you have now. All collars are different and some last longer then others for whatever reasons, so whatever you are getting out of yo...

New longer lasting Replacement Garmin DC series battery

Here is a link to the website. I have personally been using these batteries for a little while now and let me tell you they have worked flawlessly and I don't fear turning them loose as much any more in or around wilderness areas. Check out his website and give Kelly a call. He is a great guy to dea...

Re: shady tricksters

Andy, I've been in on the best races I've ever heard over in that country with running, ducking, dodging, tight circling, cats...... The cats where I live are plain easy compared to some of those track stars. I would give both my cajones to have cats run like that here! The cats here line out for qu...
