Found Male walker
Found: male walker 2-4 years old. Came into a house on the Middle Fork of the Clearwater River where Tinker Creek and Tahoe Creek come in. That is about mile post 87 on highway 12. Had Johnson type radio collar on that has the antenna missing. Also wearing a dummy shock collar and regular collar. No ...

Re: REWARD FOR INFO ON DOG KILLED IN IDAHO
Looks like the Western States Archer clubs and associations would want to chip in some $$$$ to make an example of this kind of slob....and how about the State Houndsmen Associations???

Re: Commission meeting in Spokane on WA Wolf Plan
If they have stated that they want the entire state to have wolves, you might suggest they start with Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia suburbs to see how that goes......... G.

RZR dog box
This is a custom box we just had made by a local craftsman (Kamiah). He does excellent work. Box will hold three dogs and has lots of room on top for winter cat hunting gear. He can make anything out of any metal.....some guys are talented that way

Re: *GRAPHIC* DAMN WOLVES! (Not my dogs)
I just talked to Shane this morning. He still has an aching heart and probably always will...those were some fine dogs. If the guy from New York would care to come out here to Idaho and make some more cruel statements about any of us who are trying to do something about this situation, many of us ...

Re: *GRAPHIC* DAMN WOLVES! (Not my dogs)
I was told today at a local sporting goods store that the Schilling family has lost a total of 10 hounds to wolves. 10 good dogs. One family. In just a few years. Now the other western states have them, and they are also a big problem in the North. This is total, pure, un-distilled stupidity. Surely ...

Re: *GRAPHIC* DAMN WOLVES! (Not my dogs)
Just got news that Steve Schilling had two fine hounds killed last Saturday near Camp 58 up out of Harpster, Idaho. He and his family and friends have been especially hard hit by this out of control wolf situation......they had five killed in one whack just a couple years ago. Something has to be ...

Re: Garmin/Marine radio use
Ok Thanks.... these are just 5 watt hand helds. Do you think that lessens the danger, or do you think there even is any danger of damage at that low wattage? Thanks for getting back so quickly. Come see us. G.

Garmin/Marine radio use
I have recently purchased marine radios to use. Some one has now told me they will ruin the Garmin system. Could those of you who know (Buddy?) expand on this issue so those of us with marine bands can have the correct information? Sure would hate to lose our tracking system due to stupidity ...

Re: bluetick/plott speed
Perhaps those of you following this fine example of houndsmen comraderie, can see why Oregon, Washington, California and other States have lost, and will continue to lose some of the hound hunting seasons and species. Who cares if someone wants to post pictures of his success? Who cares what color ...

Re: hard headed top notch bear dogs.
I have found over the years that there is a difference in a dog being hard headed and one that has a great deal of desire. A dog that is hard headed and/or stubborn just has that trait. Not a good quality in my opinion. Having great desire and drive is key. Then you add in a fair amount of ...

Re: Recent gathering of mountain lion experts and most agree
Well, I really thought Oregon was the worst....that's why we moved to Idaho. Let me tell you, these people on the IDFG are even worse. Hard to believe, but after attending the meeting in Lewiston a month or so ago, there is still no plan for effective "management" of the wolf population that ...

Re: Wolves Kill Another Hound In Idaho
No, it was Buckshot.. Gus is the sire and his mother is one of Randy's females. Don't know if you know, but Bob also lost Gus's dad to wolves a few years ago, too. It is such a terrible waste. Especially since this young dog was so good at such a young age. I guess it wouldn't matter hold old the ...

We get up to see moonshiner ocassionally, but haven't been up your way for a long time. Tell you dad hello for me and try to keep all sportsmen involved in our issues........especially the wolves. Good hunting. Greg
