Re: NEW folding antena for garmin astro
dont use a cb antenna on your garmin.it will kill it . you need to use a marine raidio antenna(vhf). cant really go wrong with garmins longe range antenna. I made a holder out of pvc pipe for walking it the bush. only problem I have had is closing the window of the truck on it, my bad .

Re: energizer ultimate lithium batteries in the garmin astro

Re: Garmin astro
the dc 20s are junk. poor water proofing very easy to over tighten antenna which then breaks crappy soldering inside. Pain in the ass using a counter weight to get the antenna to stay in right position. For a hundred bucks more you would be better off getting 1 dc 30 collar and astro that is brand ...

Re: price of hounds these days
I like starting my own dogs from pups. I never have paid for a pup and probably wont unless both parents are exactly what Im looking for. I wouldnt pay more than 200 for a pup either. The way I see it I am the only one to mess with the dog, get it to do what I like it to do hopefully. For me half ...

Re: New to the site, looking for a tracking system
dont bother with the dc 40s The 30s work just the same and are cheaper, I wrap my collars with electrical tape and they have held up for two and a half years now.there isnt enough change in the dc 40s to make them worth any more. JMO
