Re: 2006 Toyota Tacoma

Well I got my truck back from the shop with a new short block motor and wouldn't you know it the check engine light is still on. So I took it back and they hooked it up, now my cats are bad! And wouldn't you know it they aren't covered on the warranty. So where it sits now is new was 8350.00 and I ...

Re: 2006 Toyota Tacoma

I have found that running oversized tires can overload the tranny. I had an older truck that I ran big tires on and did a lot of freeway driving as well as off-roading. I lost a tranny every 30K miles just like clockwork. Turned out to be the oversize tires putting too much torque on the tranny ...

We've had pretty good luck picking for size, conformation, and attitude at about 8 weeks. This is one we picked to keep:

Re: Looks over Ability

Looks and ability go hand in hand. I dog that's off in its geometry will not be able to run a track for 3 days. A hound with short ears won't be able to cold trail as well. Other traits, like a sway back will produce a shorter life span or health problems that affect performance down the road a few ...

Re: can a good hunting dog make a good house dog?

I had a puppy buyer once that was horrified to learn that the pups were in the house. I could tell by the change in his voice on the phone when I mentioned a pup being in my lap. He was suddenly uninterested. At that point I wouldn't have sold him a pup anyway.

My first bluetick slept by the fire ...

Re: Blueticks

I have a Cameron x Moats male bluetick that is a great bear dog. Crossed him with a heavy linebred Uchtman Hornet female and the bear hunting pup buyers are thrilled with them at 8 months. They say there's no quit in them and they are very gamey.

Re: Get this...

Outstanding video. The general public has no idea what the Humain Society really stands for. They only see the commercials on tv and the shows on Animal planet. This is why it's so important to watch what we film and place on the internet. I couldn't figure out how to link it but if you do a search ...

Re: Chain or Kennel

My dogs each have a 20' x 6' concrete run with a storage building at one end with dog houses built into it. I hired a finisher to get the smoothest finish possible when I poured the concrete. Half of each run is covered with roof. It's fenced with 6' chain link, wired and plumbed for electricity and ...
