Re: Howdy from Arizona, need hunting partner

I will look forward to meeting your littermate to my male I call "T-Rex". Is yours a good looker too? T has great feet and is built strong. I am heading to Idaho this week. I just purchased some land for summer living in Grangeville. Jess and I are partnering up on it. Since he has extensive log ...

Re: need help!!!!!

The first thing that comes to mind is "coon hound paralysis". I had not known much about it but you can find information about it on the web. I researched it because my dogs were scrapping with lots of coon when we hunted the river. I sure hope the spinal issues sort themselves out and your pup ...

Re: Howdy from Arizona, need hunting partner

Thanks Pegleg. I have horses, and a Honda quad that goes good. I have a stock trailer to haul in if I'm going for a day trip somewhere, and a trailer that I fixed up to sleep in the front that is a 3 horse. It can carry the Honda and 1 horse if I load it right. I just got back from Roosevelt Lake ...

Howdy from Arizona, need hunting partner

I totally understand why folks don't want to hunt with strangers (myself included) and especially a woman who might show up in high-heels and pink pants (NOT ME!!). Just to set your mind at ease (I hope) I will explain why I am looking for a new hunting partner. I have always hunted, as I was ...

Re: my hound doesnt bark on the trail...

I have noticed that my young dogs will do that when they are running by themselves. I think it might be a little insecurity, but once they figgure out there is game at the end of the trail, they start barking. It some times just takes awhile, I think. If you run your pup with another dog he is ...

Re: Wanted: Arizona hunting partner

Howdy Dustin,
If you don't mind running dogs with a woman, I'd be happy meeting you! I started running hounds in the late 1970's (yes, that makes me an old timer), stopped to raise a family, and got re-hooked about 5 years ago. My son guides in Idaho, and we hunt together when I visit North. My dog ...

Re: Last kitty for 09

Hey, I love to see the smile on Parker's face! That is what it's all about!! You big guys are doing a pretty good job of looking happy too. I hope the pups turn out great. Cali sure is a good looking pup, like her Mama Cricket. I will always enjoy the memories of hunting with her on that snowy ...

Re: Wanted: Arizona hunting partner

Thanks guys for the invite. I will keep that in mind when I get over your direction. I am still looking for someone closer to Salome. That is west of Wickenburg, in La Paz Co. I am semi retired, so can go hunting any time... have pickup, dog box, mutts, will travel :D

Wanted: Arizona hunting partner

Howdy,
I recently moved to the Salome, Arizona area, and am looking for a hunting partner(s)within a reasonable distance drive. I have one good dog and 3 young dogs (yearlings). I like to work the dogs a few days a week, train, road, and run coon, bobs or long tails. Anybody out there? Anybody got ...
