If you want to catch a bobcat in Montana get a hold of twist he catches a ton of them if theres good snow.

If Montana Hounder can't get you one there is a guy up in Plentywood MT that I got my dog from and shes a real good dog.

Thanks everyone for all the good advice its nice to hear everones opinion. Sounds like there has been some good bluticks in everyones packs it will be exciting to see how my will turn out. Shes got a good trainer named twist.

Thanks so you saying you need to mix them in with other dogs? Do you guys know of anyone in particular that is catching bobs with blue ticks?

Blueticks for chasing bobcats
Has anyone had much luck chasing bobcats with blueticks. Some people say they aren't as good as a walker or fast. What is the consensus out there.

Twist and I went out tonight this is the second coon for the pups in a week. Things are really starting to click for them. I was real impressed with the 8 week old topper pup that wanted part of the action. For 5 months and seven months they can get to the tree on there own I'm real happy with that ...

I have this blue tick pup and she's coming along good. But I'm afraid that the blue heeler male that we have is going to bred her. What is the opinion on Spaying female. I don't want her to get fat and lazy.

I caught one last night Twist and I turned the pups out on it tonight and the pups went crazy. Was a great time this bluetick pup is going to be a good dog she really bauled.

I put my dog box on my receiver hitch. I built a platform that goes into the receiver hitch like you see in cabelas then just atached my box to it. The only problem is a jeep receiver is not built to take the weight of a dog box. The receiver flexes to much they are not rigid like a pickup reciever ...

So I don't want to create a babling idiot so at almost 5 months but she wants to go and run around the brush with my old dog. I hate to leave her home when she wants to go. I Live east of ou not to far. The coons are starting to move a little I had the dogs out tonight and they treed on a piece of brush but no coon. I have my live trap out right now it won't be long before I have one.
