Re: Weyerhaeuser hunting in Oregon

Yep David I’m still around. I didn’t buy the Weyerhaeuser permit this year. Didn’t really feel like I it was any better than the “public” ground. It is nicer for shorter walks to the trees but I guess the up side is I get in better shape giving piggy back rides to the kids. I hear guys say all the ...

Re: Weyerhaeuser hunting in Oregon

You hit the nail on the head hunter12, I also agree with 1bludawg. Weyerhaeuser ground or not, it doesn’t take long to put a dent on an area. To each their own for what ever reason someone wants to hunt cats but for me it’s about the dogs and taking my family and friends out and listening to a cat ...

Re: Lion Catch Numbers for a Season...

Cowboyvon, I'm not really sure I understand your question. In between each track Varys different but from the southern most lion to the northern most lion I would say 125 miles.

Re: Cameron's on Bobcat

A Cameron dog is not a Cameron dog unless the guy who bred them is named Cameron, jmo. I agree with cobalt if your going to hunt bobcat don't run what your going to use on lion or bear or even coon for that matter. If your looking for a blue dog then buy a blue dog from someone like cobalt who is ...

Tech construction? You can only run coons in Washington and I don't think wolves are an issue, merlo would have to answer that.

Re: What do you think?

Mike, I do agree with you that everyone should register to vote and actually vote when it comes time, I also think if you hunt in Oregon with dogs that you should belong to OUSDA, there is no one or no organization that has done more for Oregon hound hunters then OUSDA! I'll be down at the cat ...

Re: Sylvania Oregon

Al, I kind of figured that's where he was talking about but didn't think that was a town, more of an area or part of Portland.
Redbarntrailhounds, if it is where I'm thinking you would be an hour drive from cat hunting.

Re: Should hound hunters allow Government.

I don't agree with attacking anyone who is on the same side and wants nothing but the same outcome as the rest of us. I think Dewey is a fine vp for ousda and I also agree with everything that him and David has said. If you truly want to know who is doing what in Oregon get involved with your clubs ...
