We have cooked bear much the same as deer and elk and all have been good. The best I have had was a bear roast (ham) cooked in beer brine in the dutch oven. Dad marinades the ham in the beer and spices, then pours the whole mixture in a 12 Qt dutch with hardwood coals. Cook the whole mix for about 2 ...

I have a friend who was bit on the hand while participating in a rattler round up. He catches the snakes, keeps them in a big pit behind his house, then sells them at some point in the year ...

Permits
Residents just go down and buy a permit over the counter.
As a nonresident, you have to put in for a limited draw hound hunting permit to run anything with your dogs.
Don't know what the process is but it seems every time my brother wants to come up from OK, they are all gone...
