I swapped my GPS antenna with one off my other collars and it linked right up and was communicating with the Astro as should thanks for the help............ Now does anyone know where I can purchase just the GPS antenna? I run dayglow collars and don't really wanta purchase the whole replacement ...

Well I updated all my collars and my receiver today and the problem is still present with the one collar, after Buddy's useful bit of knowledge I have however noticed that the collar is not ever blinking three times as the others, so I'm gonna swap the GPS antennas from.another collar and see how it ...

Thanks buddy I'll give that a try and letcha know, I contacted Garmin on Friday and told them about my issue they said they've heard of similar concerns and found that updating the software of the collars fixed the issue......seeing as mine haven't been updated in a while I'm going to try that today ...

I have 4 DC30's and one 220 receiver one of my collars was acting up at times on initial link up, sometimes I would delete it from the dog list and put it right back in, and sometimes I had to change the ID number to get it to link up, and now it will link up but doesn't track, show any info ...

I tried the hard reset ( unhooked the battery for 2hrs), still nothing. Sent a message into Garmin they had me check a couple of connections, and then said send it in. There going to fix it free of charge!!!

I think he is referring to the smaller type antenna, that turns back again itself. Looks more like a rectangle and folds up...........I was also interested on feedback on this type antenna, only seen one in action and the guy was driving by using it up on the Mt., didn't get a chance to ask ...

Steve, since the collar lights are only staying solid i cannot get the collar to link with the Astro. The way i was trying to reprogram it was through WebUpdater from garmin where you link the collar to the Astro, and plug the astro into the computer. Do you know of another way to reprogram it ...

Has anyone seen/used the piggy back system that West Coast Telementry are offering for the DC-30 collars???.(I seen them on Ebay item #250637071069) ... Looked like a pretty good idea i was thinking about investing in some of them. Just seeing if i could get some feedback first.

I tried to update one of my DC-30's and now it will not pair with the system at all. When you turn the collar on both lights stay red continuously, don't flash or anything. I tried the hard reset (unplugged the battery for 2-3hrs) still no luck. Guess it's time to send it in.........
