I have had good success with Albert black and tans. I know a few people in Va and WV that like them also. You can see a few of these hounds at the following link.

I had studied about vest for a few of my aggressive dogs but here in the thick briars and clear cut i think they would get hung up

i know on a vhf radio if ya run the 151.??? channel it will burn them up some buddies of mine blew three up before they knew what was going on

my oppinion is the cold affects them after we get pounded with so much freakin snow the big ones hole up and the littler bears will lay out some and stir around but most of them right now are layin pretty tight where we been huntin but some guys are finding a few tracks but weve been bustin thickets ...

well buddy i live in nicholas county in the higher elevations i would just hunt where i was if i were you snows deep and the winds feirce at times and it isnt posed to stop till thur sometime..................pretty crapy right now
