U guys that do multi day mule trips and so forth, what are u using to charge your collars?
Anyone built a multi port usb charging system that could be connected directly to a battery for those of us hunting out of older trucks with no 12v outlets?
Thanks

Re: Selling dogs
Peg leg ,this also is a bit off topic ...
Look at the amount European folks have been willing to spend on bear dogs the last 10 years.
Some are making a living.

Re: Its all about the hounds
Ridgerunner I meant no disrespect towards anyone who wishes to post or view anything they want in regards to hounds on the internet.I PERSONALLY don't think a lot of what gets put on social media sites helps keep hound hunting legal.

Re: Its all about the hounds
Brett,I wish for the most part that people would stop posting hound hunting related stuff on you tube and facebook /Instagram blah blah blah .
However in your case I really think you are doing a great service letting people who don't understand the sport see some of whats involved in owning and ...

Thanks for the input so far
BC Bluetick supposedly a grizzly biologist is set to speak on subject at BCWF agm in Nanaimo at end of April.
Anything you could do to just get any hound folks asking questions would be great

Would really appreciate some help...
Seems that there is some movement to end running grizzlys with dogs up here in British Columbia.Which if down the road if this passed would no doubt end running dogs on Black bears.

Re: Cold nosed plotts?
I currently have a grade Plott that has a pretty good nose, but doesn't have the stamina like my walkers on tough bear races. Before Kenny Jones died I bought a Plott from him she had a good nose, was tough but had bad feet. She was killed by wolves at age 2.

Re: Bobcat Jump Style
I don't need to catch a bobcat on the ground to prove anything to myself.
A cougar is a killing machine with one or two dogs or caught in a hole, however they die very easily if dogs catch them in the open where they can swarm it.

Wasn't meant as an insult.

Interesting Thread......
dhostetler I don't understand your need to catch a bobcat on the ground other than maybe to try to prove something to yourself I guess.
Your cougar stretching ordeal aside(True or not), I don't believe you have owned or seen a real bear dog.If you had, you wouldn't question ...
