Re: New Tacoma questions
If you are talking about the electric rear locking diff you can do a simple modification to over ride the problem. I have done it on my tacoma and now can lock the rear diff any time I want. It works great I use 4x4 a lot less now. If you want to look up the modification google, "Gray wire ...

Re: Hunting the border in AZ ?
I use to hunt down there a lot but one day while I was out looking at a track 16 packers tried to steel my truck, when it was all done with I had most of them in my dog box and I called the BP to come get them. They tried to use the rifle I had in my truck on me, but to their surprise it was not ...

Hunting the border in AZ ?
I was just wondering if any one has any problems when you hunt down around the border. I am thinking about starting to hunt down there again. Is it safe for a person hunting alone? Any info would be great.

Re: what you think its worth
If you are tired of all of the collars, put your shock collar and your gps on the same collar that is what I did. I would not give up the telementry it is a very reliable back up, and the battery last a lot longer than gps.

Re: Do any of you guys live outta your truck with hounds?
It is not to bad. I lived out of my truck and small travel trailer for almost 8 years util I got married. The best way to do it is a travel trailer. If you have a dog box it takes up a lot of room in the bed of the truck, I like the trailer best because you just hook up and go. I dont know your ...

Re: Dogs feet won't toughen up
I use Kopertox on their feet it works great. My dogs hunt in sand and gravel and lava rock all in the same day. If they tear a pad or get foot sore I mix Kopertox and Reducine 50/50. Reducine is 47% pine tar and also has a mild soreness relief in it. My yard has granite and lava rock in it that also ...

Re: Oregon Outdoor Council
Are they going to try and get back a lion season in Oregon. That is what you guys need up there. Of all of the states that have lost their lion hunting with hounds I think Oregon is most likely to get it back. We need to be trying to restore our hound hunting and get back what has been take from us ...

One of the best ways to prevent any problems with the Game and Fish, is to keep a recorder in your truck and anytime one talks to you let him know you are recording the conversation. Also keep in mind that if they stop you they think that you are doing something wrong or why would they of pulled you ...

Re: Wintertime camping??
I lived in my camper for years with my hounds it was great. The only problem was moving every 14 days to keep the forest circus of my back. When I wanted to see or hunt new country I just moved. You will be amazed how much more you will hunt when you dont have a TV. I would suggest a camp trailer of ...

Re: Keeping Ears Cleaned
My wife is a dog groomer and she cleans my dogs ears with a ear cleaning solution, You can get it at most pet supply shops. If there is any foul smell in the ear it could be a yeast infection, in that case put a small amount of miconazole cream or monistat seven in the ear for several days. I try to ...

What part of AZ are you from, I live in cottonwood and as soon as it starts to rain I am going to hit it hard again. I will start out up at the Kiabab hopefully the middle of July or the first of August. I am always looking for some one to hunt with. Send me a pm and we can maybe make some plans.
