I'm from Michigan and the DNR there have had some major controversial decisions.

About 10 years ago, they showed up at several training pens for beagles with trapped rabbits and offered to sell them. The guys that purchased the rabbits were fined heavily, had their licenses pulled for years. One ...

Wild ferrel/barn cats are better than drags. Get permission to live trap some field barns. Give the cat a good lead time or you wont have a very long race. A cut field with trees a way off works good.

I'm strickly a pleasure hunter Coon/Bobcat and I'm not familiar with the big name kennels other than what Ive read on the internet and thats not worth much.

Am I the only one that thinks speed is a little over rated, and may be the down fall of pleasure hounds if we are not careful?

I like everyone else don't want a hound pottering all over the woods, but a hound without the patience to gear down enough to keep contact with the track isnt worth much ...
