I would suggest you look into some old English Shepard dogs aka old Scottish collies. They are exactly what you are describing, you’ll just have to do your home work on which breeder to get them from.

I love the way these pups act, and looks like Merlin has a great personality as well. He’s getting big.

Both pups are doing great. One is a little more interested in trailing so far and the other seems to really like drifting a track.
