I agree with the rest. Tough luck, best of wishes though.
You may have already tried this but, as far as dealing with vets goes, sometimes it helps to be up front with them. Remember, they're animal lovers, hounds included.... so, when they hear that you might cull your hound instead paying a bill ...

My opinion anyways, is that you can have a dog with too cold of a nose. If you have a dog that is trying to work out tracks from 2 days ago, then it may never catch up to the quarry, and if it does it is going to take all day to do it in most cases. Don't get me wrong, that's fine if game is ...
