If you are serious about this, the cheapest thing you can do is find you a good broke fiinished cat dog.

I don't hunt in dry ground conditions, but do hunt without snow. We hunt "bare" ground, and having a finished rig dog is the most successful way to start hunting cats ...

Conditions were were nice this past weekend. Headed out Sunday morning, and the cats were really moving. We ended up putting 2 up by early afternoon, and decided to harvest one of the Toms, and leave the other alone to run another day.
