I don't hunt in dry ground conditions, but do hunt without snow. We hunt "bare" ground, and having a finished rig dog is the most successful way to start hunting cats ...

I was hoping someone could give me some names of outfitters that are running lynx.

He was just a little over 20 pounds, and I'm starting to listen to the more experienced guys about just leaving them in the tree. The dogs don't seem to care if they get some hair, or a hot dog ...

Conditions were were nice this past weekend. Headed out Sunday morning, and the cats were really moving. We ended up putting 2 up by early afternoon, and decided to harvest one of the Toms, and leave the other alone to run another day.
