Re: NALC reg. Camp-A-While bred Catahoulas for sale
Years ago I was a catahoula fan and I went through a lot of catahoulas trying to find what I wanted. As of today, I've gone away from the catahoulas and I dont plan on going back becuase they are not my style....except for one! Back in 2004 I bought a runt gyp directly from Sherry Bando. She is a ...

Re: Why don't pups run with older dogs???
I totally agree with Lost River. I think his comment is "right on". One of the things that has worked for me (a hog hunter) is to let my young pups follow another dog on a lead rope when I take the older dog walking beyond my property line. I let my pups range free on my property as much as possible ...

Re: 1/2 wiemeraner, 1/4 lab, 1/4 pit puppies
You never know what they will do. I've several "yard dogs" that would bay hogs....I've also had and eliminated dogs that were bred for baying that never would. If you have a lot of hogs in your area and they get exposed to hogs eraly and often, they may make something. Personally, I dont look for ...

Re: Hogs Gone Wild (Dogs on the show)
I personally think the show is a joke and I would not keep any of the dogs on the show. Not to change the topic but...there is another show coming on starting AUG 16th on A&E. It is called "American Hoggers". It is a group out of Texas and it appears to be a little bit more like I would expect a ...

Re: new to the site
I have one registered catahoula out of bay dog stock that has turned out to be a real good hunting dog. They gyp is out of the Elvis line from Sherry Bando. My other cur dog is a non registered dog. He is from Arkansas. The story goes, my buddy was in Arkansas and a man was going to kill this cur ...

Re: plott bloodline question
Reed, You are right. Dan is a great guy. I credit him for turning me onto plotts years ago and the best dog I ever had came from Dan. I have Mike Cauly puppies right now. I am very excited about my Cauley pups. I wish I had the space and money to own one of everybody's plotts. I guess I just like ...
