My input into this is from my 3 trips to NH ,coming over from Australia . Hunt bear each time over a pack of Blueticks. They catch plenty of bear . We just take some photos and let them go ,Festus , Tramp , Rocky , Daisy and Pretty girl have given me some great memories . Most likely go back next ...

There was no way I was going to interfere with the hunt other than make sure , that if any other dogs came along got across the road safely .If the dog had treed a bear I would have walked in with my camera . I was happy the way the owner of the dog saw that I was there to help and thanked me .

Just came back from NH recently . Whilst driving a reasonably busy road ,saw a hound go across the road. This is prime bear country . Pulled over and listened to see if the hound was going well and to see if more were coming so I could look after them as they went through any traffic that may come ...

Good luck getting those books at a good price .I had two of them but I gave them away to a friend in NH who shared his passion for hounds and bears with me .

I feed then beef , brisket bones , Lamb flaps , Chicken frames . Lamb flaps are the rib cage with the meat on. I'm in Australia and they are easy to get , We used to get cows and horses when we had more dogs

I had an enjoyable short season , travelled from Australia for a 2nd time to the US . Part of that trip was to visit a friend and see his hounds run bear
We treed 9 , let them all go , chased another a long way . Great time had by all .
Came home with some great photos and some good memories of some ...

Be interesting to know how many of these clients are interested in hounds after they've taken their trophy.
A lot of the photos don't even have the hounds in them
Some of the photos taken of lions and hounds bayed up on rocks ,ledges and treed are absolute rippers
These show the real end of the race ...

Yeah , this little fella accounted for a fair few deer until we lost him , ran this stag until he bayed him . Never stopped voicing at all ,Top little dog
