Looking for a FEMALE to breed my MALE to!
Slider just turned 5. He is Jonet bred. He is very fast, and very gritty. Super independent. We run him on bears and coyotes. This male has a fantastic build and is very strong. A real track dog. Running/Treeing Walker Mix For Coons????
We want to breed our running walker coyote hound to a stud treeing walker. Does anyone have this mix or think it wont work for coon? Thanks!

Treeing Issues
I have a 4 yr old plott dog that I used to run on bear. He will run and bark on coon and he will go right up to the tree its in, but wont tree. Hell jump up on it but wont bark treed. But yet he barks on track. Any suggestions?

I like our big plott hounds as well. They are the quickest learning dog IMO, fast, agressive, but sometimes high strung (which isnt always bad).

The reason that I want his number is becuase the last blue we had from him was out of hammer 9, and it was the best coonhound we ever had. He didnt have much speed, but if he barked he treed it. Not sure what there like presently.
