i can only speak for the black mouth curs but if you got some that come from a good working bloodline i think you would be happy, i use my BMC's for hog hunting and you cant ask for a better dog, they are very intelligent and seem to mature faster than a hound in my opinion, they for the most part ...

how many times have you hunted him? have you been hunting him by himself only? i would run him with some older dogs so he knows what hes out there doing, if you have the ability take a shoat and do some mock hunts with the dog and see how he does i would. best thing to do is put him on fresh sign ...

There's a website don't remember the name but go to Google type in feral hog population map. Ans it will come up at least that will give you a starting point

x2 like both coolerman and houndem said they can live just about anywhere, i know they do quite well down here in florida. i think texas has the most hogs in this country.

Heres my son and 4th generation houndsmen just helping feed the hogs the other day, just figured id share, and also my two strike dogs and the puppy, but my son claims them all!

Honestly if he ends up being open on the trail and you don't like that kind of dog give him to or sell him to someone that hunts open dogs I've seen a lot of open dogs ruined by people trying to keep them silent. You could try shock collars and running him with silent dogs but if he is gonna be open ...

You need to remember she is only a year old, she's still a pup how long have you had her? How many times have you taken her hunting? Also if you have taken her hunting several times how many times has it been at night? I've seen a lot of younger dogs only taken out during the day time then you take ...

English hound blood lines
Hey guys just curious if anyone has ever heard of these english bloodlines before, the sire is PR Three Rivers Cotton and the dam is PR LIL T Socket anybody ever heard of those bloodlines? if so can you tell me a little on how they hunt, wheer they come from? thanks i advanced
