That is perfect!!! So you just reach through the opening and tighten the turnbuckle. Awesome I have been freaking out about how to secure the box and not make it look to rough.

Thanks for the reply. You welded the link to the inside corners right? How hard is it to get to the front turn buckle. Im a bigger guy. Could you post a pic?

Thanks guys for the responses. I am going to probably try ratchet straps over or through the box in front and back to d hooks already in the truck. Any pictures of ratchet or cable applications would be appreciated.

Hey guys I have a question about an over the rail dog box. I am making one for my pickup and I am trying to keep the weight down since it will be made out of steel.
