Congrats iinvno1 on the catch! Did you get any pictures to share? I have to leave the state for work for a week so I won't get to star chasing till miss month. Maybe we'll have snow by then anyway.

iinvno1, I hear you. Unfortunately almost all of region one is full of wolves. I think that whatever area you are in you will have a high potential for a wolf encounter. I'll be in the wolf trapping class on Saturday. Hopefully that will equal less wolves.

Wolf pop is fairly high, I think there are probably six packs or so. I think there are still a lot of cats in there. I just need to find someone who is willing to run their dogs through wolf country.

New to the site. I'm in NW Montana, Kalispell. I hunt and trap, looking forward to this trapping season with wolves being open now. Any tips from you Idaho trappers would be appreciated.
