you got to give the guy a thumbs up for helping the image of hounds men to the world. He runs off poachers, helps out his neighbors but pushing out mountain lions. Expresses his disgust of wolves. this guy isn't all bad.

I ran in to this same problem last year. My 3/4 ton extended cab was just way to heavy in mud and slush not to mention it cost 20 to 30 bucks in gas to go in the hills. I think it has lot to do with personality of the the dog. You can have two dogs from the same line , bitch, handler,etc. But two different results. Same thing happens with us. two broters can grow up one a doctor one a construction worker. luck of the draw.

The best thing you can do for your self is get cage traps. They cost a lot more but you can release small males & females with no damage to there legs. Be selective about the game you take and there will be more for the rest of us. Plus the big males are worth more.

So I went out fishin today and ran the dogs there and back. I noticed that at a trot he runs a bit sideways with the bad knee in the back. when he sprints he staightens out and looks fine.???? Any thoughts?

He walks on it just fine. Thats why I didnt notice it when I bought him. It dosent even seem to bother him at all but I havent seen him really run though. He ruff houses around with the other dogs and goes up and down the stairs fine.

So I bought a pup about 2 weeks ago. Since then I have noticed that has a enlarged socket bone on its back leg. It dosent seem to bother him walking or running, but from time to time when he goes to scratch his ear I notice he cant quite reach it. Has anyone ever delt with this? Will it affect his ...
