I doubt they tree anymore or less cats, coons, etc. than non papered dogs but after having a few dogs without papers and not being able to enter them in the nite hunts, my ...

Re: Race distances

Andy I've had a Garmin all this year and 1/2 of last year and this last weekend was the first time i noticed you can see how far your dog has went. but last weekend on a lion chase. from truck to tree back to truck the dogs went 9.8 miles. Pretty neat feature.

Re: Huge Lions

a taxidermist around my area that has hunted with me a few times, say he had a cat brought in that he green scored at 16. about 2 months ago. So the top end of the MT books could see some changes.

Re: hunting with out snow in Montana?

I think the hardest part of hunting in areas for cats with no snow is finding a runnable track, i've turned out on tracks i've found in mud or in one case i seen a bobcat run across the road in front of the truck on mostly snow less (just snow under trees and on north facing ridges). But the catch ...

Had a good day on the hill today. Left one of the younger dogs out of the mix, the black and Tan I have some high hopes performed well.
