I have often thought on a moving cat that isnt jumped yet it is like the scenting conditions aren't there sometimes always thought it is like they keep there scent turned down or off tell you get them on a hard jump. Thought I was crazy though and newer to catching the game.

I have used him the last 5 years and don't need him any more. He is around 10 years old the only thing he don't like is the head of the elk. There is some old timers better at this then me but I believe just repetition helps and some of these dogs are just naturals. I have a pup now that is already striking varmints but has been hauled around a bit on the box.

That dog looks just like a half brother I had from that bozo dog. He was one of the best locate dogs I had ever seen and at a young age. Nice picture.

Does anybody have a update on the person that was attacked by the bear last week at jblm. I also heard that dogs were attacked today by the same bear and I think it might have been killed today. Anybody have the correct story on this. Thanks

i would think we would have enough technology now that we could mount a camera and make a vest attached with some type of guns and use a dog to kill wolves.

Country and conditions play a role in how fast a dog can run a track but the garmin will give you all those results if you just push new hunt when they start a track it will give u there speed and distance traveled. That will tell u if your dog can run a bob. Start new hunt say when there jumped see...

Southernfox there are alot of hounds that dont smell every track and run with there heads up.
