Start em with coon. If they run a coon they will definetly run a lion or bear. Lions and bear put down a lot more scent than coon. Thats what Ive done and its always worked.

Hi there. Just found this site and thought i'd join in. I've been running hounds probably since I could walk. Started out running coon in Minnesota and just recently moved to northeastern Wyoming and been running a few cats. Would like to know if there is any more houndmen in the area.
