Re: NOVEMBER

Mark you are a 100% right!!!! And to the people who say all politicians are liars and you are screwed regardless yes there is some truth to that but there is definitely different levels of screwed for example CA laws vs AZ laws for both hunting and guns. Re: Plott or Not? Mountain Cur? Tennessee Brindle?

If you're in Georgia I would guess Pitbull/Birddog cross. That is why it is brindle with ticked up feet. Just my guess knowing how many hog hunters use that cross there.

Re: Best bobcat dog for Wyoming conditions

Reaching out to hunters that target bobcats in Wyoming, wondering what you have found that work in our conditions as far as breeding and pack makeup. I've got leopards and some grade west coast blood that look like triggs. Thanks in advance for your time. Sorry I don't have an answer as I don't liv...

Re: Pricing a dog?

I rarely ever sell a dog but sometimes somebody wants one more than I do. I believe in being 100% HONEST about the dog, if the guy still wants it then get as much for it as you can. I had a guy come to me at a field trial one time inquiring about buying a 20 month old dog, he had a littermate that ...

Re: Pricing a dog?

Perk, yes some 8 year dogs are done, then there are some 8 year old dogs that are still getting the job done & worth their weight in gold to some hunter who has a pup or two to train on bobcat & has no proven, experienced trainer to train those pups. Suspect the reason you feel that way is b...

Re: Dog adjusting to new owner

From my experience some dogs do need time to bond and get comfortable with a new owner and environment and some dogs don't. Pet him up a little when you feed so you can start to build a little bond with him and the more he runs with your other dogs the better. After doing those things you should kno...

Re: Getting dogs to come out of the bush

I tone train mine by first taking them out to the fields and let them run, then when they get a 100-200 yards away or so, I tone them as I call them so they associate the tone to coming back to me. Then when they come to me I pet them up or sometimes give them a treat if I have any. I do this a few ...

Re: Ted Nugent on California Game Management

Another thing worth noting about Ted is he has stated for years that he never played with drugs or alchohol. Thats pretty amazing to me considering the times and business he was in. He claimed that women were his weakness lmao. Great point Mark, how is that even possible being in RocknRoll in the 6...

Re: Given up on Facebook

I agree with most of what has been said, and like Chris I have been up over a 1000 friends but I realized that I didn't even really know most of them so I deleted anyone I hadn't actually talked to whether it be in person, phone, or message. I have made good friends through FB and the internet in ge...
