Re: flir
Regarding the Night vs. Day. It's thermal so that doesn't matter too much. You'll get some reading with Stumps, Decay and such that will show up on the device, so you have to be careful to try and figure out what your looking at. But I've found squirrels, Birds, even mice in the wood pile just playi...

Re: flir
The Range is impressive for big Game. Easy to spot Deer/elk several hundread yards. It doesn't see through the brush you have to have some exposure. For bobcats the limbs and branches can block it. but it has found one cat that we would have considered a false tree. Even with the bino's it was diffi...

Re: National Hound and Tree dog Association
Joe, I never said you were crooks or that your intentions were not in the right place. I think your intentions are good. I don't think anyone is claiming you have bad intentions here. At least I haven't seen it and I hope someone isn't reading my comments to think I'm calling you a crook. Because th...

Re: National Hound and Tree dog Association
David, Sorry my daughters School called before I was able to proof my post earlier. I also want to be clear these are questions that I've been thinking about for about two years now regarding starting an association. It has more to do with my concerns for starting a National Organization and not as ...

Re: National Hound and Tree dog Association
TGA, We (Double U) help and donates to more hound groups and associations than any other company that I'm aware of. Most of the time we have to justify which groups are actually fund raising to use the funds to fight for rights, and which ones are looking for Free Gifts. I want to clarify, I don't t...

Re: National Hound and Tree dog Association
Ok I was going to keep my opinion on this to myself, I've been asked about it privately quite a few times. But I guess I've been called out, so I'll address my concerns and address the comments about moderation as well. Here were my concerns and still are my concerns to date: I can ask the Folks in ...

Re: world championship catdog competion
I have a couple of the FLIR and Thermal products that are being field tested right now. So far with good results at least with the Top of the Line model. (It's expensive) I'm working on trying some of the Low end Cell phone models to try to see if those are any benefit or if they even work, but have...

Re: world championship catdog competion
I have one of them and it's been pretty impressive. We were approved to sell them just trialing in some and playing around. They have a Flir that connects to your I phone but I'm not sure if it works as good. I would have been happy to supply one of them to try out for the Judge to use as a tool as ...
