I HAVE BEEN HUNTING DOGS OR WITH DOGS STARTED WHEN I WAS ABOUT 25 WITH OTHER PEOPLES DOGS.I AM 44 YEARS YOUNG. CHASE DOGS IN NEW MEXICO YOU STAY YOUNG. I HUNT CURS& HOUNDS DONT CARE WHAT COLOR AS LONG THEY HUNT.I KNOW A LITTLE ABOUT HUNTING DOGS.AS FAR AS DOGS PULLING HAIR I WOULD NOT HAVE ONE THAT WOULD NOT PULL HAIR!! THERE ARE TO MANY GOOD ONES OUT THERE.IN NM WE LET ALOT OF BEARS AND LIONS GO.TO CATCH ANOAHER DAY! I HAVE SEEING BEAR NOT WANT TO TREE WITH A DOG THAT WONT PULL HAIR.JUMP ON THAIR HEAD ASKING FOR DEATH WISH!! A BEAR IS NOT A COON THEY BITE A LOT HARDER.WHEN A PERSON HAS A GOOD OR GREAT PACK YOU KNOW WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT.I WAS TOLD BY AN OLDER MAN GET A HANDEL ON YOUR DOGS YOU WILL CATCH MORE GAME I HAVE SEEN IT 1 HAND.I HAVE TO THANK ALL THE PEOPLE I HAVE HUNTED WITH BECOUSE HAVE LEARNED A LOT GOOD BAD INDEFERENT.I BELIVE THAT IF A PERSON WANTS GREAT DOGS YOU SPEND LOTS OF TIME IN WOODS.0N THE COUCH DONT MAKE DOGS!! SOME SAY I AM LUCKY SOME SAY I AM GOOD DONT CARE WHAT THEY SAY AS LONG AT THE END I AM TREED!!! I AM LUCKEY MY WIFE LETS ME HUNT AS I DO.AND I AM NOT GOOD MY DOGS ARE!THEY CAN ONLY BE AS GOOD AS I LET THEM BE HOW MUCH AS I HUNT THEM. REMENBER DOGS AND HUMANS ARE INDIVIDUALS EVERY ONE DIFFERENT.BUT WHEN DOGS OR PEOPLE LEARN TO PACK TOGETHER IT IS A GREAT THING GAME WILL BE IN A TREE THAT IS WHAT COUNTS.A PERSON CAN CATCH GAME BY THEM SELF MORE FUN WITH GOOD FRIENDS!!! WHEN IT NOT FUN I WILL QUIT! WE AS DOG HUNTERS NEED TO STICK TOGETHER SO WE DONT LOOSE HUNTINGS RIGHTS!!!!

You are 100% right. The fact is that all of us know this is 100% right but the sad part is most of the guys talk the talk but will not fight the fight and my friends it is a FIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The New Mexico legislature just finished there session for the year and there was a bill (HB348) that the ( I call them bunny huggers) was trying to get passed making it a felony if you harmed a pet, they wanted pets too have the same rights people have when it come to abuse. You know that might sound pretty good to a lot of folks but to us it could mean big time trouble. We or should I say a few folks I know got it tabled. But what happens in a couple more years???? So I guess what I'm trying to say is we all better make are selfs better heard, take off work, make a stand for what we all believe is are hertige, privlege. or we are going to wake up one day and say what in the hell just happened. if you don't belive me ask colo.& calif. what happened to there bear season's. Coming to a state ner you. Get involved. Or just say I had a great hunt LAST YEAR.
