coonhoundcompanions.com is a site devoted to promoting surplus coonhounds in pet homes. In spite of what a lot of us hunters think, a lot of hounds end up in shelters, and are usually euthanized because they are hard to place in pet homes. Coonhound Companions shows the pet potential of unwanted hounds--which really do make good pets in the right homes.
