You will need to register. In your profile information, please list your real name in your signature line and also your state of residence. This has been a rule at the Watering Hole since day one. This forum has been around for years. It is actually the old "Shade Tree" boards. Once your account is active, please read over the board “Rules of Conduct”, they are pretty short and simple but none the less important for the integrity of the board. Also, a short introduction about yourself and your hounds would be appreciated.

The Watering Hole has always been kind of a small Northwest US and Western Canada board for bear and cat hound guys, but anyone is welcome. It has always been a forum where everyone gets along well. This forum requires participation. Members that do not contribute will be deactivated. Also, please do not join just to peddle classifieds. Buddy currently hosts the forum and has for over a year now.

Is this the secret underground, gotta know someone to get in forum that people hear about but cannot access or find. I thought the forum's existence was just a myth like sasquach or innocent until proven guilty. Just kidding.

BTW, Does it have all of the old shadetree post or just the ones from current members?

I would get bared. So I'll just stay here cause I GOT FRIENDS IN LOW PLACES!!!!!

How long before they activate your account, been 3 days thus far and still cant log in?

I can't log into mine there, is the change possibly why?
Though I'm guessing it's my computer illiteracy...

The Watering Hole hound forum is under new ownership, has a new name, new domain, and new server. It is no longer an invite only forum, anyone is welcome to join. The old Watering Hole is defunct. The new forum, which was the "Shade Tree" before the Watering Hole, is now simply---THE TREE. It is at http://www.treedogs.net or http://www.hounddoggin.com. Thanks, see ya all at The Tree!

Seriously though is there anyway to get to the PM's that we use to have when it was the old shade tree?

The old shade tree PM's didn't even make it to the watering hole. They are long since gone. There are a lot of old shade tree posts dating clear back to 2005 tho.
