Del Cameron hounds??

Hi everyone, I was just wondering what kind of quality his current hounds are producing? Havent heard much about people buying direct from him,(not saying he doesnt sell a bunch) so if you have any dogs from him or are hunting with direct dogs id like to hear about them.

i just had a litter of pups outta some cameron dogs. she has alot of the original cameron hounds. they are some real good dogs. anymore questions...let me know

Its hard to get a pup from Del. He's more than a year out on orders last I checked. There are tons of secondary breeders out there hunting his stock. I'd say look for someone who has 100% Cameron dogs and hunts them and selectively breeds. My Cameron hounds are all from his stock but have at least one other breeder between Del and I. A couple of them have licked his hand though if that's worth anything. Just joking. What do you want? Have you called Del and talked to him? He may be able to direct you to what you are looking for if he can not supply it.

A good guy to call is Jim Harrell in Montana his dogs all come from Del and he hunts them all and has bred his dogs after he has proven them a very good guy to talk to will nit try to talk u into something just tells u what he knows. He said he has a few pups on the ground right now. What are u wanting i am getting to make a full cameron cross from two proven cat dogs. And might even have a female thats a year and a half thats seen a dozen lions for sale.
